Since we’re able to rely on energy sources that won’t run out, such as sunshine, wind, biomass and tides. This means that we won’t need to worry about running out ways to generate power. Futhermore not only does the effect of temperature change rise affect the wildlife on the surface but it’s also affecting the wild life on the ocean floor. The hotter temperatures have a great effect on the coral reefs, because the hot temperatures are leading to algae living inside their tissues also known as bleaching. Once we lose our coral reefs we won’t be able to get it back. “Our oceans absorb heat created from fossil fuel emissions, causing temperatures to rise and coral reefs to bleach and die”(Thoubbourn). Coral reefs not only provide a habitat for marine organisms but it also protects our coast lines from waves and tropical storms which are capable of doing lots of harm to our homes and towns.
