Misconceptions

There are many misconceptions and false statements about renewable energy, for example, they do in fact release fumes into the atmosphere. “Renewable energies are cleaner than most fossil fuels, but”cleaner “ and”clean “ are very different terms. A resource like biomass still burns waste products and puts pollution into the atmosphere”(Chief). There are no clear ways to help our planet they will still be pollution and climate change will still keep happening. There isn’t a clear change that will help our planet live for longer but our new lives will still hurt the planet. With the information given many will say then what’s the point our planet will still die and I will have spent money for nothing. “The technologies and facilities that are used to build renewable energy resources require fossil fuels, as do the transportation and distribution networks. In many instances, renewable energy relies on fossil fuels, whereas fossil fuels do not rely on renewables”(Chief). We will be using fossil fuel for a long time and it won’t matter by the time everything is electric and is using renewable energy it will be too late.
