For example, while renewable energy sources such as oil and coal may run on low supply, renewable energy sources such as windmills, solar panels, hydropower, and biomass energy will never run out. “Renewable energy technologies use resources straight from the environment to generate power”(“The End of Fossil Fuels.”).There is an endless supply of solar energy which helps to power homes in the winter, keeps pools warm and keeps your car nice and warm when it’s parked outside. When you have solar panels on the side of your house, it not only saves you money but you also help the environment. The energy you gained from having solar panels is going into keeping your house warm and keeping electricity flowing in your house. Instead of using coal or gas which is the leading cause of climate change you can now keep your house warm in the winter thanks to the fact you have now converted solar energy. Many businesses are also converting to solar energy because you’re able to not only help the plant but save money at the same time. Yearly you will save four hundred dollars a year and for business owners, with multiple buildings, it will add up as the years go on.
Also producers of renewable energy such as solar panels don’t need much maintenance. “renewable energy technologies require less overall maintenance than generators that use traditional fuel sources”(Thoubbourn).
